Halldór Örn Óskarsson Lighting Design
Halldór Örn Óskarsson nam ljósahönnun við The Bristol Old Vic Theatre School í Bretlandi. Hann hefur síðan þá lýst yfir sjöutíu sýningar, meðal annars fyrir Þjóðleikhúsið, Borgarleikhúsið, Leikfélag Íslands og Leikfélag Akureyrar.
Halldór Örn er nú fastráðinn ljósameistari við Þjóðleikhúsið, en meðal nýlegra ljósahönnunarverkefna hans þar eru sýningarnar Hreinsun, Heimsljós, Svartur hundur prestsins, Lér konungur, Hedda Gabler, Bjart með köflum, Íslandsklukkan, Brennuvargarnir, Hænuungarnir, Utan gátta og Þrettándakvöld.
Meðal verkefna hans í Borgarleikhúsinu má nefna Jesus Christ Superstar, Dauðasyndirnar, Gítarleikarana, Ást, Kommúnuna, og Ófögru veröld.
Halldór Örn hlaut Grímuverðlaunin fyrir Hreinsun, Utan gátta, Ófögru veröld og Macbeth, og var tilnefndur til sömu verðlauna fyrir Jesus Christ Superstar, Héra Hérason, Íslandsklukkuna, Lé konung, Engla Alheimsins og Endatafl.
Halldór Örn Óskarsson / BIO
Halldór Örn Óskarsson studied lighting design at The Bristol Old Vic Theatre School in the UK. Since then he has designed lighting for over seventy productions, in the National Theatre of Iceland, Reykjavik City Theatre, Theatre Company of Iceland and Akureyri Theatre Company.
Halldór Örn is currently a resident lighting designer at the National Theatre of Iceland, his recent designs there include: Purge, World Light, Svartur hundur prestsins, King Lear, Hedda Gabler, Icelands Bell, Karma for Birds, The Chickens, Off Target and Twelfth Night.
His work for Reykjavik City Theatre include: Jesus Christ Superstar, Seven Deadly Sins, Rabbit Rabbit, Love, Together, og The Wonderful World of Dissocia.
Halldór Örn was rewarded "Gríman" the icelandic theatre awards for his design in Purge, Off Target, The Wonderful World of Dissocia and Macbeth, and has also been nominated for Jesus Christ Superstar, Rabbit Rabbit, Icelands Bell, King Lear, Angels of the Universe and Endgame.
